When Dulal's Palm Candy was first established, the founder crystallised pure Palmyra palm sap in clay pots with no idea the product would outlast empires, partition, and the birth of a new nation. The Dulal's name — now protected as a Registered Trade Mark by the Government of India — has stood for uncompromising purity ever since.
That name has never been licensed to any other manufacturer. There is no authorised reseller producing Dulal's Palm Candy under a different label. If a product does not carry our trademark, it is not ours — regardless of how similar it looks or what name it uses.

Every genuine pack of Dulal's Palm Candy carries the ® symbol alongside our brand name. This trade mark is registered with the Government of India. No imitation product has the legal right to use it. If you do not see ® on the packaging, it is not Dulal's.
The label must clearly state "Dulal's Palm Candy" with the manufacturer address in West Bengal. Any product without this exact manufacturer information is not the authentic article, regardless of what the brand name says.

Genuine Dulal's Tal Mishri crystals are naturally white to very light cream in colour — never pure brilliant white (which indicates chemical bleaching) and never yellow or brown (which indicates unrefined jaggery). The crystals dissolve cleanly in water, leaving no chemical aftertaste. If the crystals dissolve leaving a caramel-coloured residue or artificial sweetness, they are not genuine palm candy.
